Summary Description:
Coordinate all activities of the Electrical Department including materials, manpower, and other attributes. Assist in the application of all Electrical costs, budgets, goals, and others.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Process Electrical Department Requests.
- Purchase/procure any repair parts needed.
- Provide liaison between Engineering and Electrical.
- Provide back up coverage for Maintenance and Boiler areas as needed.
- Responsible for safety and safety procedures within the department.
- Expedite capital jobs and special projects as required.
- Process Electrical Operations Reports.
- Provide assistance to the Boiler Plant.
- Plan, process, and coordinate the activities of the Electrical Department.
- Coordinate work schedules with production, engineering and maintenance pertaining to the installation and modernization of machinery and control systems for the various processes throughout the mill.
- Ensure that adequate technical training is provided for salaried and hourly employees in the Electrical Department.
- Control Electrical Maintenance costs.
- Supply guidance for specifying, design, purchase, and installation of major electrical and instrumentation equipment.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical area or closely associated course of study required. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years supervision of staff.
